Specifications for fixing Countrystone Wall Fascia It is recommended that Countrystone fascia be adhered with Davco SE7 adhesive mixed with Davolastic liquid additive combined with water in a 1:1 ratio.(Note: 20kg SE7 would require 6 ltrs liquid (i.e., 3 ltrs Davelasitc) and this would cover approx 6m2 of walling).  It is essential that the vertical surface is: clean and not painted (any paint must be stripped off) Primed with Davelastic /water in a  2:1ratio The adhesive should be applied to the wall using a 10mm notched trowel. The back of the Countrystone tile should also be smeared with a thin layer of adhesive. Tiles should be evenly spaced. Paving Plus supplies 10mm pegs to achieve this. It is recommended that Davco Off White Slate and Quarry tile grout is used to fill joints. Paving Plus can also supply a “grout gun” to make grouting quick and easy. (Note: 20 kg grout will  do aprox 7m2 walling). NOTE ALSO: Where individual fascia units exceed 4kg in weight, it may be necessary to mechanically fix pieces by pinning them into a wall.  Paving Plus can supply technical details for such fixing. INSTALLATION IS EASY Simply 'butter the back of the tile and adhere to any smooth surface. CUTTING IS EASY Country Stone will cut easily with a masonry disk. ADHESIVE AND GROUT Countrystone supplies adhesive and grout. Grout guns are available for efficiency. SEALING Countrystone has a built in water repellent. Sealing is not essential, although it will reduce weathering. REPAIRS Countrystone supplies a dry mix 'renderkit. This is also effective for merging two fascia tiles on a corner.
